Fun atmosphere with tasty cocktails and good food. We had the smash burgers and chicken sandwiches with the spiral potatoes! Such a nice change from French fries. Burgers were excellent! Everyone was happy and satisfied

What in the world is wrong with me!?!?! Lived in the area for all my life, knew about this place but never went. Well we did today! My daughter and I both got the smash burger and it was GREAT! The cheese and peppers with the Hawaiian bun was just a flavored explosion. You can choose between a potato tornado or tater tots. I got the tater tots and they may be the best I've ever had. My daughter got the potato tornado which is a spiral cut potato fried and it was good with the tater tots win. We love that it's a very old place and almost looks haunted. It was nice and quiet inside. I also went into the saloon next-door just to take a look, they have live music and a very old school looking bar. And I only mean that in the good way. Our poor waitress seem to be there by herself, but she was super friendly and very quick to help us. The bathrooms are in the saloon next-door, just a little tip. Also, if you're coming from Fremont to Sunol, you have to take Niles Canyon, if you're too scared to drive in Niles, Canyon I suggest you take the long way and not hold everybody up I can almost guarantee we will be back.

Loved it here! So happy we stopped here for lunch. The staff is super friendly and informative. They even let us come inside with our pup! It was pretty quiet inside as it was on a Saturday afternoon (middle of lunch time and dinner time). Next door they have a saloon with an open mic on the first Saturday of the month. They've kept the Sunol history alive. The decor is cute and fits the style they're going for. They have old photos and newspapers around the place and the woman working encouraged us to walk around to look. My husband and I both ordered the smash burger and were not disappointed. Probably the best smash burgers we've had. The meat is cooked well, tastes lean and is a good size patty. They put it on a soft bun with yummy sauce (close to thousand island without the pickles) and also put grilled peppers which adds a nice flavor and crunch. It does get messy but is so worth it. The burger is $16 and for $4 extra you can get a side of tater tots or a spiraled potato. We got one of each to try. Both were good but the tater tots were our favorite of the two. They were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The Mac and cheese appetizer was also tasty. We will come back for sure. Love supporting a local business especially if the staff is super friendly and the food is good.

Made a quick stop while riding my bike through the canyon and was pleasantly greeted by Savrent aka Sam, even in the early afternoon she was very pleasant even though we were just grabbing a quick cheap beer. Great service and I am now following their social media for updates on what events they have going on! Thank you Sam and cheers to a new must stop when riding through the canyon.

My first time at Bosco's Roadhouse in Sunol and it was a treat! This hidden gem did not disappoint. From the rustic look to the friendly neighborhood dogs I was in awe when I walked in. Historic photos of the town of sunol everywhere. They have a pool table and live music and on the other side of the building you can enjoy a nice quiet meal. Something for everyone! Perfect for date night. The cocktails here were delicious. Yes this is more than just a dive bar with Coors light. You can get some amazing cocktails. "The Snoop" and " The strawberry country cooler" are my favorites. Now for the food! 1. I ordered the Savvy's Hungover Mac n Cheese. It was creamy and cheesy and gave you an option to spice it up with a cute little Tabasco bottle. Loved it! 2. The Fried Tamale! Yes fried. The crispiness and the juiciness of meat with the green salsa was a great combination. I think I much rather have fried tamales from now on. 3. Saving the best for last... "The best Smash Burger in Sunol". I love smash burgers and I make them at home all the time. I have my favorite all time located in Santa Barbara CA at "Third Window Brewing". I think I may have found a new number 1! This burger was cooked to perfection. The crispy edges of the beef, the melted cheese, the perfectly sautéed onions and peppers and the sweet soft bun. It was amazing. I'd be back just for the burger but it helps everything else was awesome. Thank you Bosco's for a great time. See you soon!

When it comes down to it, I believe that is could possibly be one of the best tacos in the east bay. Truly incredible. The burger was absolutely stellar as well with grilled peppers and onions that add a nice change with the pimento cheese. Service was fast and kind and all housed inside a cute country roadside aesthetic. Will be coming here again and again.

We stopped by this Sunday afternoon. So glad to see this place under new ownership. Haven't been here since before the pandemic but the place looks amazing. Really good food and some tasty cocktails. Service is on point and really enjoyed the live music. Will definitely make this our go to spot on Sunday afternoons.

Before riding the Niles Wine Train taking off from Sunol, hubby and I decided to get some lunch nearby first. It's right across from the Sunol station so super convenient location for stopping by either before or after a train ride. The Strawberry Country Cooler cocktail was very refreshing and I believe made in the bar next door (same establishment just not connected to the restaurant). The decor fits the general theme of the restaurant. And if you're a dog lover, you'll love the uniquely titled menu items, including their cocktails! It was relatively empty when we went, but we had no complaints on service. I'm also glad there was a tasty vegetarian entree option! Would love to see more :) Next time we're in Sunol for a train ride, we'll definitely stop by again!

Excellent fresh food, and delicious drinks! What's not to love? The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection and the "Barktichoke" and bean salad was so flavorful. The ambiance is retro and fun, can't wait to go for live music one of these weekends.

We came here after hiking nearby in Sunol. Reasonable prices, the food was decent, and portions were huge! The style of the restaurant is pretty cool! It gives a classic feel to it, retro style seats, etc. It was also very relaxing vibe in the restaurant that day, there was no rush pay quickly, and everyone in the restaurant was mostly talking and enjoying their meal.
